In-Home Automation Policies: 

All returns must be made within 14 days of your order. To obtain authorization, please email support@in-homeautomation.com.

Any automation product purchased from In-Home Automation must be programmed by our technicians, we will not ship standalone product under any circumstances.

All merchandise returned must be UNOPENED in the original packaging. Once the merchandise is received, your account will be credited less any shipping cost unless the return is a result of an error on our part.

No returns on the following:
 

  • Project Programming or Service (extensive warranty granted on this service)
     
  • IT Support Services (extensive warranty granted on this service)
     

Return Fees apply as specified below:
 

  • Shipping charges may be applied to merchandise exchanges.
     
  • Shipping fee is not refundable
    .
  •  A 15% restocking fee for all returns.
     
  •  All returns will be processed within 72 hours of being received.
     
  •  International customers are fully responsible for all shipping costs as well as related fees imposed by their country for returns.
     

UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES: If the carrier returns a package as undeliverable, a refund will be issued less shipping cost. Shipping and handling fee will apply to reshipment.

REFUSAL OF DELIVERIES: Refusal of shipments will be handled like a return in accordance with our return policy, unless prior arrangements have been discussed and approved. Shipping fees and/or freight charges are non-refundable.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS: It is best to contact us by e-mail as in stock items are shipped the same day for orders received by 1PM EST. If your order has already shipped, you may refuse delivery or return it following the instructions above. Shipping costs incurred will not be refunded.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS: No refunds on Special Orders.

SHIPPING SERVICES: In-Home Automation uses USPS {US Mail}, UPS and FedEx for all packages. Shipping charges are determined by size, weight, its destination and may require a signature. Special services i.e. Overnight, Saturday delivery, Canadian and International orders may incur additional shipping costs due to size, weight and destination.

WARRANTY SERVICE: All products sold by In-Home Automation have a full manufactures warranty*. In-Home Automation will repair or replace defective item within 30 days of original purchase.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY TERMS OF USE: All company logo's, artwork, terminology and phrasing are the intellectual property of In-Home Automation and fall under the protection of copyright laws.  All violators will be notified and fined accordingly.

* Programming and IT Support Services carry a full 1 year warranty related to bugs, incorrect coding and human error.
